My depot at flatex.at - Online Broker - my favorite solution for German and Austrian shares (registered shares are registered, no fees for dividend payments on this countries, receive invitations for AGMs, ...) You can use either the german or austrian version - fees are pretty the same and both don't charge a fee for Austrian AND German Dividend payments. Maybe german residents prefer the german version and austrian the austrian because oft the automatic tax solution:

As a lot of friends ask me again and again for the cheapest/easiest solution as a beginner or passive investor (ETF, ..): For those requirements Trade Republic will be enough and probably the cheapest solution, as you don't need more.

But be aware of a lot of limitations as soon you want buy global single stocks, attend AGM and so on.
